17 Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; the old has passed away, and see, the new has come!

2 Cor. 5:17 (CSB)

1.  We have peace with God

Therefore, since we have been justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ.

Romans 5:1 (CSB)

We have also obtained access through him by faith into this grace in which we stand, and we boast in the hope of the glory of God.

Romans 5:2 (CSB)

44 It was now about noon, and darkness came over the whole land until three, 45 because the sun’s light failed. The curtain of the sanctuary was split down the middle. 46 And Jesus called out with a loud voice, “Father, into your hands I entrust my spirit.”, Saying this, he breathed his last.

Luke 23:44-46 (CSB)

16 Therefore, let us approach the throne of grace with boldness, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help us in time of need.

Hebrews 4:16 (CSB)

2.  We have hope.

We have also obtained access through him by faith into this grace in which we stand, and we boast in the hope of the glory of God.  Romans 5:2 (CSB)

When Christ, who is your life, appears, then you also will appear with him in glory.

Colossians 3:4 (CSB)

And not only that, but we also boast in our afflictions, because we know that affliction produces endurance, endurance produces proven character, and proven character produces hope.

Romans 5:3-4 (CSB)

And not only that, but we also boast in our afflictions, because we know that affliction produces endurance, endurance produces proven character, and proven character produces hope. This hope will not disappoint us, because God’s love has been poured out in our hearts through the Holy Spirit who was given to us.        Romans 5:3-5 (CSB)

Now he told them a parable on the need for them to pray always and not give up.

Luke 18:1 (CSB)

Consider it a great joy, my brothers and sisters, whenever you experience various trials, because you know that the testing of your faith produces endurance. And let endurance have its full effect, so that you may be mature and complete, lacking nothing. James 1:2-4 (CSB)

3. We have eternal security.

For rarely will someone die for a just person—though for a good person perhaps someone might even dare to die. But God proves his own love for us in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us. How much more then, since we have now been justified by his blood, will we be saved through him from wrath. 10 For if, while we were enemies, we were reconciled to God through the death of his Son, then how much more, having been reconciled, will we be saved by his life. 11 And not only that, but we also boast in God through our Lord Jesus Christ, through whom we have now received this reconciliation.

Romans 5:7-11 (CSB)

For while we were still helpless, at the right time, Christ died for the ungodly. For rarely will someone die for a just person—though for a good person perhaps someone might even dare to die. But God proves his own love for us in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.

Romans 5:6-8 (CSB)

How much more then, since we have now been justified by his blood, will we be saved through him from wrath.

Romans 5:9 (CSB)

10 For if, while we were enemies, we were reconciled to God through the death of his Son, then how much more, having been reconciled, will we be saved by his life.

Romans 5:10 (CSB)

24 Now to him who is able to protect you from stumbling and to make you stand in the presence of his glory, without blemish and with great joy,  to the only God our Savior, through Jesus Christ our Lord, be glory, majesty, power, and authority before all time, now and forever. Amen.

Jude 1:24-25 (CSB)
