For a child will be born for us, a son will be given to us, and the government will be on his shoulders.  He will be named Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Eternal Father, Prince of Peace.
Isaiah 9:6 (CSB)

14 Glory to God in the highest heaven, and peace on earth to people he favors
Luke 2:14 (CSB)

I can experience His Peace:

1.  In difficult circumstances.

1 In those days a decree went out from Caesar Augustus that the whole empire should be registered.
Luke 2:1 (CSB)

This first registration took place while Quirinius was governing Syria. So everyone went to be registered, each to his own town.
Luke 2:2-3 (CSB)

2.  In strained relationships.

26 In the sixth month, the angel Gabriel was sent by God to a town in Galilee called Nazareth, 27 to a virgin engaged to a man named Joseph, of the house of David. The virgin’s name was Mary. 28 And the angel came to her and said, “Greetings, favored woman! The Lord is with you.” 29 But she was deeply troubled by this statement, wondering what kind of greeting this could be. 30 Then the angel told her, “Do not be afraid, Mary, for you have found favor with God. 31 Now listen: You will conceive and give birth to a son, and you will name him Jesus. 32 He will be great and will be called the Son of the Most High, and the Lord God will give him the throne of his father David. 33 He will reign over the house of Jacob forever, and his kingdom will have no end.” 34 Mary asked the angel, “How can this be, since I have not had sexual relations with a man?”
Luke 1:26-34 (CSB)

While they were there, the time came for her to give birth.
Luke 2:6 (CSB)

3.  In an uncertain future.

In the same region, shepherds were staying out in the fields and keeping watch at night over their flock. Then an angel of the Lord stood before them, and the glory of the Lord shone around them, and they were terrified.
Luke 2:8-9 (CSB)

10 But the angel said to them, “Don’t be afraid, for look, I proclaim to you good news of great joy that will be for all the people: 11 Today in the city of David a Savior was born for you, who is the Messiah, the Lord. 12 This will be the sign for you: You will find a baby wrapped tightly in cloth and lying in a manger.” 13 Suddenly there was a multitude of the heavenly host with the angel, praising God and saying:  14 Glory to God in the highest heaven, and peace on earth to people he favors! 15 When the angels had left them and returned to heaven, the shepherds said to one another, “Let’s go straight to Bethlehem and see what has happened, which the Lord has made known to us.”
Luke 2:10-15 (CSB)

16 They hurried off and found both Mary and Joseph, and the baby who was lying in the manger. 17 After seeing them, they reported the message they were told about this child, 18 and all who heard it were amazed at what the shepherds said to them. 19 But Mary was treasuring up all these things in her heart and meditating on them.
Luke 2:16-19 (CSB)

27 “Peace I leave with you. My peace I give to you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Don’t let your heart be troubled or fearful.
John 14:27 (CSB)

28 “Come to me, all of you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. 29 Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, because I am lowly and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. 30 For my yoke is easy and my burden is light.”
Matthew 11:28-30 (CSB)

He will settle disputes among the nations and provide arbitration for many peoples. They will beat their swords into plows and their spears into pruning knives.  Nation will not take up the sword against nation, and they will never again train for war.
Isaiah 2:4 (CSB)

13 Suddenly there was a multitude of the heavenly host[a] with the angel, praising God and saying: 14 Glory to God in the highest heaven, and peace on earth to people he favors!
Luke 2:13-14 (CSB)

Jesus told him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.
John 14:6 (CSB)

10 Faithful love and truth will join together; righteousness and peace will embrace.
Psalm 85:10 (CSB)

17 The result of righteousness will be peace; the effect of righteousness will be quiet confidence forever.
Isaiah 32:17 (CSB)

18 If only you had paid attention to my commands. Then your peace would have been like a river, and your righteousness like the waves of the sea.
Isaiah 48:18 (CSB)
