7 The end of the world is coming soon. Therefore, be earnest and disciplined in your prayers.  8 Most important of all, continue to show deep love for each other, for love covers a multitude of sins. 9 Cheerfully share your home with those who need a meal or a place to stay. 10 God has given each of you a gift from his great variety of spiritual gifts. Use them well to serve one another.
1 Peter 4:7-10 (NLT)

Point 1:  What is Hospitality?

Point 2:  Where does that happen?

Point 3:  How does that look?

  • We have to have determination

  • We have to plan ahead

  • We have to want to meet with Jesus

6 Zacchaeus quickly climbed down and took Jesus to his house in great excitement and joy
Luke 19:6 (NLT)
19 “Don’t store up treasures here on earth, where moths eat them and rust destroys them, and where thieves break in and steal.  20 Store your treasures in heaven, where moths and rust cannot destroy, and thieves do not break in and steal.  21 Wherever your treasure is, there the desires of your heart will also be. 22 “Your eye is like a lamp that provides light for your body. When your eye is healthy, your whole body is filled with light. 23 But when your eye is unhealthy, your whole body is filled with darkness. And if the light you think you have is actually darkness, how deep that darkness is! 24 “No one can serve two masters. For you will hate one and love the other; you will be devoted to one and despise the other. You cannot serve God and be enslaved to money.
Matthew 6:19-24 (NLT)

Point 4:  Why should I care about it?

1 “Don’t let your hearts be troubled. Trust in God, and trust also in me.  2 There is more than enough room in my Father’s home. If this were not so, would I have told you that I am going to prepare a place for you? 3 When everything is ready, I will come and get you, so that you will always be with me where I am. And you know the way to where I am going.”
John 14:1-4 (NLT)

32 Since he did not spare even his own Son but gave him up for us all, won’t he also give us everything else?
Romans 8:32  (NLT)
